@00:24Cool. Glad you noticed. Chapter 1 was dream turned nightmare and wasn't "real". Chapter 2 is his real world, so I'm glad that there's a big difference between the two! It's also fall so I wanted it to really show. I had a couple of people point me in the direction of making the trees with different colored leaves of fall colors to really show what season it was and I'm glad they did, because before that I had just a lot of greens.

@00:06Compared to the dark nature of chapter 1, I'm glad it comes across that way. Even though there are a few serious overtones in chapter 2, you're still in Milo's good ol' hometown feudal system village with a simple life to lead.

OMG, It's almost here. Here's a taste of what it's going to be. Nothing really exciting, but the story does get moved along and you get a good gist of what's going on and what Milo's daily life is like. I put a lot of time in backgrounds, props, subtle stuff to make it seem really complete and I want to give super extra props to Jamie Haggerty for adding some kick butt visual lighting effects. They really add depth to the visual parts of the scenes.

Props to :iconkillskerry: too. She basically designed the cricket "Chirp-Chirp", made the picture in Milo's room and designed the tapestry you see in the background at the Breakfast Table scene.

Chapter 2 IS finished BTW, but not the end montage. I'm actually already starting to animate it, so you will get a complete Chapter 2 VERY, VERY SOON.

@00:24The soft backgrounds and colours just make a natural feel to it.. I don't know how to describe it but I love it! there is a difference from the animation before this one. Can't wait to see the real thing. =)

@00:40Thanks. I spent a lot of time on them, especially the 2.5D one when they're walking to the barn. You'll get to see a bigger dose of that in the entire episode.

@00:40Looking good! My only comment is the scene where the father is telling the son that they are going on a trip, and you can only see the son in the frame, while hearing the father's voice. It just doesn't feel right.

@00:40I can understand that. In the episode, you actually see him talking before it cuts to Milo's reaction shot. I edited it out in the trailer so I could get the dialog in there that I wanted. But you are right. I've seen it complete so many times, that in my head I know it's there, but you guys don't. Something I overlooked. It'll be right when you see it in its entirety. Good eye.
